leginkább Nash sorával nem tudtunk mit kezdeni. a PPnk lényegesen jobb volt, mint az utóbbi időben, bár még mindig kevés

Good for wing Teddy Purcell who took Sunday's last-minute scratch like a man, and on Tuesday even said it was deserved. "I'm just more disappointed in myself for not doing what (Boucher) expects of everyone, doing it sometimes but not doing it consistently," said Purcell, who has seven goals and 25 points, but just one goals in his past 15 games. "It's a wake-up call, and I have a good opportunity (Tuesday) to get in and get some power-play time and take advantage of it." Boucher said Purcell's difficulties have more to do with defensive responsibility. Either way, he does not like scratching regular players. "I hate that," Boucher said. "But sometimes when you're at step two, three, four, you have to go to step five."

Desjardins hurt: AHL Norfolk goaltender Cedrick Desjardins, who made such an impression in two victories for the Lightning on Dec. 30 and Jan. 1, sustained an undisclosed upper-body injury in Sunday's game with Charlotte and will have tests over the next day or two to determine the extent of the injury. Desajrdins, 14-6-1 with a 2.56 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage and a shutout for the Admirals, left Sunday's game in the second period after a collision with a Charlotte player. To fill the gap, Jaroslav Janus has been promoted from ECHL Florida.

Boucher is taking the last two losses on himself, saying the boys were tired:
"The players were off and a little tired," Boucher said of the back-to-back losses. "I knew it and last Thursday I had no practice (scheduled), but at the last moment I changed my mind. There were a few things that were urgent to practice. we improved those things very well. The problem is our smarts and attention to detail wasn't there because the guys were tired."

bár a sérülése óta még nem teljesen egészséges, azért egy jó kis csetepaté alól nem bújik ki. bár megvan már a magához való esze, szóval ehhez a mérkőzésnek is úgy kell alakulnia. volt már, hogy nem ment bele, mert azzal buktunk volna egy PPt kulcs pillanatban.
szóval ha nagyon megyünk vagy nagyon megszortok minket, akkor szerintem tuti a bunya. ha szoros meccs lesz, akkor az elején még talán, a 3. harmadban már sansztalan.

Martin St. Louis is the only NHL forward this season to record at least 50 points and also register at least 40 blocked shots.

The fact the Lightning is in first place in the Southeast Division more than halfway through the season is an impressive feat, especially considering the road it has traveled and the injuries it has endured.
But to the players, their expectations have risen. And that's what makes the Lightning's recent stretch, having lost three of its past four, including its first back-to-back regulation losses since Nov. 11-14, so frustrating.
"We know what we're capable of, and we're not getting that right now," assistant captain Marty St. Louis said. "So am I disappointed? Absolutely, and we all are. But this is done. And we've got to move forward and think about the next one and try to get back on track."
Though the Lightning's next game is against struggling Columbus on Tuesday in Tampa, it offers little solace. The Blue Jackets took the Red Wings to overtime on back-to-back nights, winning in a shootout then losing in overtime. And Tampa Bay has struggled against teams near the bottom of the standings, including two losses in the past week to the Devils, who might be improved under coach Jacques Lemaire but still have the league's worst record.
"This is our toughest stretch of the year, as far as having to deal with two games against Jersey that killed us," coach Guy Boucher said. "Two games against Jersey killed our momentum and killed our confidence and that high level of commitment that we had. We've got to turn it around."
A key culprit has been inconsistency, St. Louis said. The Lightning (26-15-5) might have great effort and execution on some nights, like in its two shutouts over the Capitals in the past few weeks, but then its attention to detail and smarts will falter the next night.
"The reality is, where we are in the standings, the teams get geared up to play us," St. Louis said. "When I first came to Tampa, we weren't a playoff team, and you get a chance to play a good team and it was a chance to try to gauge yourself, prove to the organization that you were on the right track. Right now we're a team that teams are geared up to play. We can't have our ups and downs in our play."
That goes for the whole team. Even veteran goalie Dwayne Roloson, who was spectacular in two shutouts over Washington, has given up nine goals in his past two starts. Though in Saturday's loss in Carolina, he wasn't helped by the Lightning special teams, which gave up a season-high four power-play goals (one on an empty-netter) and its ninth shorthanded goal.
"As a team, we want more," St. Louis said. "And right now, we're faced with a little adversity. And we deserve the results we're getting right now. Nobody is going to feel sorry for you. You can't feel sorry for yourself.
"It's not a forgiving league. Every game is a tough game. We've just got to straighten it out, get it back on track. It's been there at times here and there but not enough to get on a streak."

MAB pedig tavaly épp Boucher keze alatt játszotta el ugyanezt. Guy pedig azt mondta, akkor is két hét kellett neki a játékba lendüléshez és további legalább kettő, mire nhl szinten mozgott, szóval most sem fognak vele kapkodni.
és ne felejtsük el a lényeget: mi most kezdtünk csapatot építeni, új taktikát alkalmazni, új embereket beépíteni, új vezetőséggel stb. az, hogy jelenleg ilyen jól állunk, pusztán a kemény munkának köszönhető, s nem a valós tudásunknak. jóval előkelőbb helyen tanyázunk jelenleg, mint ami tartalom mögöttünk van, szóval ez egy 3-4 évre tervezett folyamat legeleje, ne várjunk hibátlan, csodás menetelést. emlékezzünk rá, miként álltunk neki az idei évnek: a PO az már csak hab a tortán, ha összejön!

kaptunk épp elég lehetőséget mi is, de nem éltünk vele, míg a Carolina környörtelenül bevert mindent. olyan old Devils módjára játszottak. lófasz támadójáték, de remek helyzetkihasználás. mi meg a saját impotens PP-nk mellett valami elementárisan szar PKt mutattunk be.
jó, a 5 on 3 egy vicc volt és valóban fordulópontot jelentett a meccsen, de itt az ideje, hoyg rendet tegyenek a fejekben, különben a saját kőkemény melójuk megy a kukába nagyon hamar

Tegnapi meccsen lehet h a zebrák csináltak ki minket, de asszisztáltunk nekik. Hogy lehet ennyi sh gólt bekapni egy majdnem élcsapatnak? Persze ahogy láttam gondoskodtak róla h a végén emberhátrányból kellett volna egyenlíteni, de akkor is.
A hazai túrán szerintetek 18 pont nagy elvárás?

Tudom olvastam. Én ilyen taktikai dolgokra gondoltam. Persze az igaz hogy csinálhat bármit, ha játékosok nem kapják össze magukat. Az elkövetkező 12 meccses hazai túrán sok minden eldől majd.
